Chateau La Verrière consistently over-delivers in the quality to value ratio. Merlot dominated, ripe flavours, smooth textures and a lingering aftertaste.
Aromas of cassis, black currant, underbrush, smoke and tar. Soft and fruity on the palate with a beautifully articulated mineral component. A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon that is another fine example of the value to be found in the brilliant 2011.
